The feet of a Ramses II statue at Pi-Ramesses - Wikipedia, Public Domain Here are two videos about the site of Pi-Ramesses, the biblical Ramesses of Exodus 1:11. This is where Moses came to confront Pharaoh. The archaeology of this site is amazing. Steve Rudd makes several great points as to why much of the archaeology of Jebel al Lawz does not support the mountain as a candidate for Mount Sinai. He does believe that there geographical possibilities that support this mountain as Sinai. I agree with his assessment of the archaeology, but his geography is way off. Jebel al Lawz cannot be Sinai because the geography of the route of the Exodus does not even lead to modern day Saudi Arabia. More later! See video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WltSouTvLjs
